6. Content Moderation
6.1 Our Rights
BakkMe reserves the right, but does not assume the obligation, to review, screen, monitor, edit, restrict, disable access to, or remove any User Content at any time and for any reason, including but not limited to content that we determine, in our sole discretion, violates this Agreement, our Community Guidelines, or applicable law. Our decision to moderate content in some cases does not create an obligation to moderate all content.
6.2 Automated Moderation
We employ automated systems, including machine learning models and content classifiers, to detect and flag potentially violating content. Automated moderation may result in:
Content being automatically removed or hidden pending review.
Content being labeled with warnings, age-restrictions, or sensitivity markers.
Content visibility being reduced or limited in recommendation and discovery systems.
Notifications being sent to you about potential policy violations.
We acknowledge that automated systems may occasionally produce incorrect results. All automated actions are subject to human review upon request.
6.3 Human Moderation
Our trained content moderation team reviews flagged content, user reports, and escalations from automated systems. Human moderators evaluate content in context, considering factors such as intent, public interest, newsworthiness, cultural context, and the severity of the potential violation.
6.4 Enforcement Actions
Depending on the nature and severity of a violation, BakkMe may take one or more of the following enforcement actions:
Issuing a warning or educational notice.
Removing or disabling access to the violating content.
Reducing the visibility or reach of your content or account.
Temporarily suspending your account or specific account features.
Permanently disabling or terminating your account.
Reporting the violation to law enforcement authorities where required or appropriate.
6.5 Appeal Process
If your content is removed or your account is subject to enforcement action, you have the right to appeal the decision. To submit an appeal:
Navigate to the notification or message informing you of the enforcement action.
Select the "Appeal" or "Request Review" option.
Provide a brief explanation of why you believe the action was taken in error.
Submit your appeal for review.
Appeals are reviewed by a human moderator who was not involved in the original decision. We aim to resolve appeals within fourteen (14) business days. You will be notified of the outcome of your appeal. The appeal decision is final.
Alternatively, you may submit an appeal by contacting us at support@bakkme.com with the subject line "Content Appeal" and include your account identifier and a description of the action you are appealing.
7. Fundraiser Content Specific Rules
Fundraiser campaigns on BakkMe carry a heightened responsibility because they involve soliciting financial contributions from other users. If you create or manage a fundraiser on the Platform, the following additional rules apply:
7.1 Truthful Representation
All fundraiser descriptions, titles, images, and supporting materials must be truthful, accurate, and not misleading in any material respect.
You must clearly and honestly describe the purpose of the fundraiser, the intended use of funds, the beneficiary (whether yourself or a third party), and any relevant circumstances.
You must not fabricate, exaggerate, or misrepresent facts, conditions, emergencies, medical diagnoses, or other circumstances to elicit donations.
If you are raising funds on behalf of another individual or organization, you must have their authorization and must clearly disclose this relationship.
Supporting documentation (such as medical records, receipts, or letters) should be authentic and unaltered.
7.2 Progress Updates
You are expected to provide regular and timely updates to your donors on the status of the fundraiser and the use of funds received.
Updates should be posted at meaningful milestones or at minimum once every thirty (30) days while the fundraiser is active or funds are being disbursed.
Updates should include information about how funds have been allocated, progress toward the stated goal, and any material changes in circumstances.
If the fundraiser goal is reached or the campaign is no longer needed, you must promptly notify donors and disclose how any remaining or excess funds will be used.
7.3 Fund Usage Accountability
Funds raised through BakkMe fundraisers must be used for the stated purpose described in the fundraiser campaign. Diverting funds to unrelated purposes is a violation of this Agreement and may constitute fraud.
BakkMe may request documentation or evidence of fund usage at any time, and you agree to cooperate with such requests in a timely manner.
If BakkMe determines, in its reasonable judgment, that a fundraiser is fraudulent, misleading, or in violation of this Agreement, we reserve the right to suspend the fundraiser, freeze or redirect funds, or take other appropriate action, including referral to law enforcement.
BakkMe does not guarantee or endorse any fundraiser and is not responsible for verifying the accuracy of fundraiser content. Donors contribute at their own risk.

9.2 Creator Content Standards
All content standards and prohibited content rules apply to creator content, regardless of whether the content is free or paid.
Paid or subscription content must deliver genuine value to subscribers and must match the description and expectations set by the creator.
You must not use deceptive tactics to induce users to subscribe or pay for content, such as misleading previews, false promises, or bait-and-switch practices.
If you offer subscription-based content, you must maintain a reasonable cadence of content delivery consistent with your stated offering.
9.3 Revenue and Payments
Creator revenue shares, payment schedules, fees, and minimum payout thresholds are governed by the BakkMe Creator Program Terms, which may be updated from time to time.

Earnings from creator content are subject to BakkMe's applicable platform fees and transaction costs.
9.4 Intellectual Property in Creator Content
The ownership and licensing provisions in Section 3 apply to creator content. Paying subscribers or purchasers of your content receive a limited, personal, non-transferable license to access and view the content they have paid for. This does not grant them any right to reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit your content.
10. Third-Party Content
10.1 Sharing Third-Party Content
When you share, embed, quote, or reference content created by third parties (including other BakkMe users, external websites, news organizations, or any other source), you must:

You may include links to external websites and services in your content. However:
You are responsible for the links you share. Do not share links to malicious, harmful, illegal, or prohibited content.
BakkMe does not endorse, verify, or assume responsibility for the content, accuracy, or safety of external websites.
Links that are used for phishing, malware distribution, affiliate fraud, or other deceptive purposes are prohibited.
10.3 User-Generated Content from Others
BakkMe may display or recommend content created by other users alongside your content. We do not endorse or guarantee the accuracy, quality, or safety of any User Content. Your interactions with other users' content are at your own risk.
11. Content Removal and Deletion
11.1 Your Right to Delete Your Content
You may delete your User Content at any time through the Platform's built-in deletion features. When you delete content:
The content will be removed from your profile and will no longer be accessible to other users through the Platform under normal operation.

We aim to complete the deletion process within thirty (30) days of your request, unless a longer period is required for technical or legal reasons.
11.2 Account Deletion
If you delete your BakkMe account, we will delete or anonymize your User Content in accordance with our Privacy Policy and data retention schedules. Certain content may be retained as described in Section 11.3.

11.4 Cached and Shared Copies
Once content has been shared, redistributed, reposted, or otherwise disseminated on or off the Platform, BakkMe cannot guarantee complete removal of all copies. Specifically:
Content that other users have saved, downloaded, screenshot, shared, or reposted may continue to exist outside of BakkMe's control.
Search engines, web archives, and other third-party services may have cached or indexed your content.
Content shared in group chats, direct messages, or collaborative spaces may remain visible to other participants after deletion from your profile.

12.4 Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, BakkMe, its officers, directors, employees, agents, affiliates, and licensors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages arising from or related to User Content, including but not limited to damages for loss of profits, goodwill, data, or other intangible losses, even if BakkMe has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Any dispute between you and another user arising from your User Content.
BakkMe reserves the right, at your expense, to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter for which you are required to indemnify the Indemnified Parties, and you agree to cooperate with our defense of such claims.
