2.3 Vérification de l'âge et application
Date of birth collection: All users must provide their date of birth during account registration. This information is used to determine eligibility and apply appropriate safety features.
Age gate enforcement: Users who do not meet the minimum age requirement are prevented from creating an account. We do not retain personal data of users who fail age verification.
Ongoing verification: BakkMe uses signals-based age estimation and may require additional age verification (such as identity document verification) for access to age-restricted features, particularly payments, fundraising, and live streaming.
False age detection: We employ technical systems and behavioral analysis to detect users who may have misrepresented their age. If a user is determined to be underage, their account will be suspended and age-restricted features will be disabled.
Parental consent: In jurisdictions requiring parental or guardian consent for users between 13 and the local age of digital consent, BakkMe implements verifiable parental consent mechanisms in compliance with applicable law.

3.2 Comment nous détectons le contenu CSAE
BakkMe deploys multiple layers of technology and human review to detect and prevent CSAE content:
Hash-matching technology: We use PhotoDNA and other perceptual hash-matching technologies in collaboration with NCMEC to detect known CSAM before it is distributed on our platform.
AI-powered classifiers: Machine learning models trained to detect previously unknown CSAE content, including AI-generated/synthetic imagery, grooming patterns in text, and age estimation in visual content.
Behavioral analysis: Automated systems that identify patterns consistent with grooming behavior, predatory networking, and exploitation.
Proactive scanning: All uploaded images and videos are scanned against known CSAM databases before being made available to other users.
Keyword and pattern detection: Natural language processing systems identify coded language and known terminology associated with CSAE.
4 Modération du contenu
BakkMe operates a multi-layered content moderation system specifically designed to prioritize child safety across all platform features.
4.1 Automated Detection Systems
Pre-publication scanning: All images, videos, and live stream content are scanned using hash-matching (PhotoDNA) and AI-based classifiers before being shared or broadcast on the platform.
Real-time monitoring: Live streams are subject to continuous automated monitoring using computer vision and audio analysis to detect inappropriate content involving minors.
Text analysis: Messages, comments, captions, group posts, and fundraiser descriptions are analyzed using natural language processing to detect grooming patterns, CSAE-related language, and solicitation of minors.
Behavioral signals: Our systems monitor user behavior patterns, including messaging frequency with minors, friend request patterns, and age-gap interactions, to identify potential predatory activity.
Link detection: URLs shared on the platform are scanned against databases of known CSAM distribution sites and flagged for review.
4.2 Human Review Team
Dedicated child safety team: BakkMe maintains a specialized team of trained child safety specialists who review flagged content, conduct investigations, and make enforcement decisions.
24/7 coverage: Our child safety moderation team operates around the clock to ensure rapid response to reports and flagged content.
Specialized training: All child safety reviewers undergo extensive training on CSAE identification, trauma-informed practices, legal obligations, and reporting protocols. Training is refreshed at minimum every six months.
Psychological support: BakkMe provides mandatory psychological support, including access to counselors, wellness programs, and regular debriefings for moderation staff exposed to harmful content.
4.3 Priority Review for Child Safety
Priority Handling: All reports related to potential child sexual abuse or exploitation are escalated to the highest priority queue and reviewed within a maximum of 24 hours. Imminent-threat reports are addressed immediately.
Child safety reports are automatically escalated above all other content moderation queues.
Reports involving imminent danger to a child trigger emergency protocols, including immediate content removal and, where warranted, direct contact with law enforcement.
Automated detections of CSAM result in immediate content removal and account suspension, pending human review and NCMEC reporting.
5 Mécanismes de signalement
BakkMe provides multiple accessible channels for reporting child safety concerns. We encourage all users, parents, guardians, and external parties to report any content or behavior that may endanger children.

Profile reporting: Users can report an entire profile if they believe a user poses a risk to children. A dedicated "Report for Child Safety" option is available on all profiles.
Live stream reporting: During any live stream, viewers have immediate access to a prominently displayed report function with a specific option for child safety concerns.
Chat reporting: Individual messages and entire chat conversations can be reported for child safety concerns directly from the messaging interface.
Anonymous reporting: Users may submit child safety reports without their identity being disclosed to the reported user.

Preserved data is stored in a restricted-access environment with strict access controls, accessible only to authorized child safety and legal personnel.
Evidence is retained for the period required by applicable law and in cooperation with law enforcement directives.
BakkMe does not notify users who are the subject of a CSAE investigation that their data has been preserved or reported, so as not to interfere with potential investigations.
6.5 Ban Evasion Prevention
Users permanently banned for CSAE violations are prohibited from creating new accounts on BakkMe.
We use device fingerprinting, email analysis, IP tracking, and behavioral signals to detect and prevent ban evasion attempts.

Message requests from flagged or suspicious accounts to minors are automatically blocked.
7.4 Restricted Live Streaming
Users under 18 cannot host live streams on BakkMe. This restriction is in place to protect minors from the inherent risks of real-time, interactive broadcasting.

Any data processing involving minors undergoes a Data Protection Impact Assessment (DPIA) and a Child Rights Impact Assessment.
10.3 Data Retention and Deletion
Personal data of minors is retained only for as long as necessary to provide the service and comply with legal obligations.
When a minor's account is deleted, all associated personal data is permanently deleted within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g., evidence preservation for CSAE investigations).
Data of users who fail age verification (i.e., are determined to be under 13) is deleted immediately and is not retained.
10.4 Default Privacy Settings
Privacy by Default: In compliance with the UK Age Appropriate Design Code and GDPR Article 25, all privacy settings for users under 18 are configured to the highest level of privacy by default. Settings that expose personal data require affirmative action to change and include clear explanations of the consequences.

Group chat invitations to minors from users they do not follow are restricted.
Message requests from accounts flagged for suspicious behavior are automatically blocked from reaching minors.

Images and videos shared in direct messages and group chats are scanned for CSAM using hash-matching technology and AI classifiers.
Links shared in messages are checked against known CSAM distribution databases.
Text-based grooming detection systems analyze messaging patterns where one party is a minor and the other is an adult, to identify potentially predatory conversations.
12.3 Safety Prompts in Messaging
When a minor receives a message from an adult who is not a mutual connection, a safety prompt is displayed before the message content is revealed, advising the minor to be cautious and providing a one-tap option to block and report.
